We are very excited about the Strictly Come Dancing final tonight – and there are only a couple of hours to go! So, what better than a little dose of Harry Judd to get us in the mood. According to our poll yesterday, 58% of you are backing Harry to take home the Glitterball, while 36% of you would like to see Chelsee Healey win. Only 6% voted of you for lovely Jason Donovan.
So with the trophy in sight, Hazza has been doing his last pre-final set of interviews - and speaking to The Sun about his Strictly experience, the handsome fella says he’s “loved it” – despite the fact dance partner Aliona Vilani has accidentally injured him a few times.
“Aliona whacks me in the face at least once a week,” laughed Harry. “My worst Strictly injury was when she head-butted me in the nose. It's usually my fault for being in the wrong position."
Harry also noted that being on Strictly has taken up a lot of time – so much so that he doesn’t get to spend a lot of time at home at the moment.
“Strictly completely takes over your life. It's a full-on experience. But it has to be because it's such a hard challenge,” he admitted. “I've loved it but it's definitely time for a break now! I miss being able to chill out. And I really miss the little things... like cleaning! One of the first things I'm going to do when the show's over is give the tiles a good scrub.”
Aw and we bet he misses spending time with girlfriend Izzy Johnston and his band mates Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Danny Jones too.
Speaking about them, Harry revealed, “The only time I get to see the boys is when they come to the show. Izzy really encouraged me. She said: 'Imagine how much fun it will be and how great it would be to be taught by a professional.' I'll come home and try out some of my new footwork with her. We might have a little waltz around the living room."
Aww, how much do we want to be waltzing around our living room with Mr Judd too? But instead, we’ll have to make do with watching him take on the show-dance, American smooth, Argentine tango and the quickstep tonight for the final. And even though we’ve grown to love Chelsee Healey and Jason Donovan too, we think our votes will be going to Harry – especially as we hear he will be showing off a bit of chest during one of the routines. WIN!
