I’m A Celebrity… runner up Mark Wright has rubbed it in yet again by confirming that he’s got nothing more than friendly affection for fellow jungle inmate Emily Scott.
In an interview on This Morning, he told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: “Do you know what, we had so many conversations in there, it wasn’t until I got out that loads of people were asking me 'What’s happening with you and Emily?’"
"I was like ‘Nothing, why do you say that?’ [and they said] you were flirting loads.”
Holly pulled him up on his flirting, though, saying: “Well you were flirting – you gave her a full frontal at one point!”
Mark replied: “The reason why I bathed naked…they said to you before, ‘If you ever want to bathe naked it’s fine, we’re obviously not going to show your bits. And I’d done a trial and had all cockroaches and dust down my pants.”
He added that although he knows Emily fancies him, the feelings aren’t mutual: “It’s an absolute privilege to hear that a beautiful girl fancies me and she really is a lovely person.
"But we’re friends, and if she comes over we may or may not meet up for a drink, all the cast.”
“She really is an amazing girl but there’s no romantic feelings for me like that.”
Maybe this means he'll be running back to Lauren Goodger, who this week exclusively told heat that she will get him back.
What about Arg?
The only real romance he had on IACGMOOH - his bromance with Dougie – has caused a stir, too. The first text he received from ex-TOWIE castmate and longtime BFF Arg was kind of needy “The first thing he said to me was: ‘So Mark what’s gonna happen between me and you?’”
Things got worse, and according to Mark, Arg texted “saying ‘Please tell me the truth, am I still your best friend?’ …Arg will always be my best friend.”
Awww. At least he remains committed to one person, even if it is burger nips Arg!
