We think that Lydia Bright might be making a late bid for a Best Actress BAFTA nomination, as the 21-year-old Reality TV star was so melodramatic in last night’s The Only Way Is Essex.
Poor Lydia was still deeply upset over her split from boyfriend of four years James Argent, and the situation wasn’t helped by gossipmongers telling her that James had cheated on her throughout their relationship.
A teary Lydia told her mum Debbie, “I never want to meet another man. I'll be alone for the rest of my life. I literally feel sick. For four years how can someone be so deceitful? I'll never trust anybody again.”
Earlier in last night’s episode Arg confessed to Joey Essex and Diags that he was a virgin until he met Lydia, and he also admitted that he’d only ever slept with one woman – Lydia. Joey thought this revelation was hilarious.
This little confession left us feeling conflicted – surely Arg wouldn’t admit to Joey Essex of all people that he’s only slept with one person if it wasn’t actually true?
Elsewhere on the show, Mario Falcone had a heart-to-heart with Mick Norcross about the Lucy situation. Lucy and Lauren Goodger put their Mark Wright issues behind them, Lauren Pope got her PIP implants looked at, and the world’s worst clairvoyant sat in Lauren G’s living room and told Lydia to look out for Simon The Pie Man. Now he sounds like a keeper.
