Week three, and the third celebrity has skated off the Ice. Mark Rhodes, sadly, is a goner.
The children’s TV presenter found himself in the bottom two alongside Charlene Tilton – but the judges decided to save the actress after they agreed that she had more to offer in the competition.
How did Charlene and Mark end up in the bottom two? Here’s what the judges had to say about their performances tonight…
Charlene’s comments
For movie night Charlene channelled another blonde bombshell, skating to Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend.
Head judge Roobin said: “You move very lovely on the ice, I wish there was more choreography on the skating.”
Katarina Witt said: “I liked most that you stayed so much in character and it suited you well. The lifts had very nice lines.”
Mark’s comments
As one of the weakest skaters on the show, Mark was always going to have a tough time. He did his best to impress with his Blues Brothers routine,
Robin said: “This is a huge improvement. The entire routine could have been done on one quarter of this ice but at least your skating was better and it is going in the right direction.”
Katarina said: “I always love Mark. The choreography was very clever as you guys really hid what is missing. You didn’t even make one entire round. Please, please, I want more skating.”
