Yesterday Ant and Dec joked about being replaced by Bruce Forsyth – today they’re teaming up with him.
In what’s sure to be light entertainment TV gold, the Geordie presenting duo are strongly rumored to be joining Sir Bruce during a song and dance routine at tonight’s National Television Awards.
TV legend Bruce has flown back to the UK from his winter retreat in Puerto Rico and plans to sing a cover version of Nat King Cole’s Let There Be Love – its thought he’ll be joined by two special guests.
“Brucie has agreed to perform a song from his new album as he said he's always wanted to play the O2,” a source confides to The Sun. “He'll be joined by two very special faces from the TV industry that most people should know. If I were a telly fan, I'd be sure to tune in.”
We can’t even begin to imagine how this collaboration will look or sound, but we do know there’s no way we’re going to miss it. In fact heatworld will be tweeting from the NTAs tonight, so we’ll keep you up to date with all the gossip from tonight’s big awards bash.
