Sex And The City is still one of our all time favourite TV shows, so we’re chomping at the bit to see teen spin-off The Carrie Diaries. At last there’s a trailer to give us an idea of what to expect from the show.
The Carrie Diaries is a prequel to the original series and follows a young Carrie as she makes her way to New York city. It stars AnnaSophie Robb in the lead role made famous by Sarah Jessica Parker, and seems to be full of parties, sex talk and best friend bonding - just like the grown up version of the show.
Our only worry… the clothes. We loved seeing what SJP and co. would parade about Manhattan in each week, The Carrie Diaries is set in the ‘80s and the hilarious retro fashion might get a bit old. Particularly as The Carrie Diaries replaces our fave fashion-tastic teen show Gossip Girl, which is due to end this year! Where will be get our TV fashion fix?
