A few weeks ago, we showed you the schmaltzy US trailer for awesome new TV series Revenge. And we're totally excited because the UK version of the trailer is even better – it’s a bit shorter, a bit slicker, and loads edgier, and shows you a bit more of what the actual show is like. Oh, and it’s got that fantastic soulful dubstep track Too Close by Alex Clare on it.
Set in posh town-by-the-sea The Hamptons, Revenge is a soapy drama following socialite Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) as she sets out to destroy all of the powerful moneyed types who wrongly framed her dad for a crime he didn’t commit. Along the way she meets the beautiful Daniel Grayson (Josh Bowman) and...well..yeah, we're not going to spoil it for you!
The re-telling of the Count of Monte Cristo is basically Desperate Housewives but younger, darker and prettier and without all the slapstick schtick – it’s on E4 starting tonight (Monday 28 May ) at 9pm. We'll be livetweeting it @heatworld, too!
