We’ve known for a while that there’s a bit of a bromance going on between Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine and Glee eye candy (well, one of them) Matthew Morrison. Only a few months ago, Adam confirmed he had signed Matthew up to his new record label 222 and now Mr Moves Like Jagger Levine has admitted he would be interested in an acting spot alongside Mr Schuester.
Adam says to E! Online, "I've talked to [them] a lot about [appearing on Glee]. We've had multiple conversations about it in the past, trying to find the right thing for it, so hopefully one day!" Guest stars already confirmed to appear in the fourth season of Glee include Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson. Now, it’s just our humble opinion, but we think a buff musician would be a brilliant addition to this list.
In fact, it looks like Adam could do with a few acting gigs lined up, as he could be out of a music career if this week’s chart rumours are anything to go by. Maroon 5’s new song Payphone looks set to reach the top ten of the singles chart, but not with Maroon 5 singing it…
A ‘fake’ version of the band's latest single 'Payphone' featuring Wiz Khalifa, has reached as high as number five in the iTunes chart, while the ‘real’ Maroon 5 track is not released in the UK until June 17. The cover is by a collective called Precision Tunes, who have previously released copies of Justin Bieber and Usher tracks.
While it seems a bit of a shame Maroon 5’s thunder is being stolen, this news bodes terribly well for the Girls Aloud cover band we have formed. Once we’ve found the other four members, we have a strong suspicion we could take the charts by storm.
