We’ll have to wait another three (yes THREE) weeks until we see them dance in their pairings, but tonight we found out which celebs are dancing with which pros during this year’s Strictly Come Dancing premiere.
In what has to be one of (if not the best) Strictly line ups in the show’s history, we watched as – awkward school disco style – the girls and boys got paired up.
The judges – including new girl Darcey Bussell – had strong opinions about who’s likely to do well during the tenth series of the show. Head judge Len Goodman tipped Olympic star Victoria Pendleton and her partner Brendan Cole, saying that they’d tandem cycle into the final.
Meanwhile, grumpy pants Craig Revel Horwood was as delightful as ever. Singling out Anton Du Beke for a bit of a slating,
“Jerry Hall and Anton… Jerry, I think she was looking for someone tall, handsome with lots of stamina, and she ended up with Anton.”
One dancer who did get a positive shout out was Girls Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh. Judge Darcey is excited to see the passion between Kimberley and her partner Pasha. So are we!
