Anyone who saw the first season of Lena Dunham's Girls will be just completely psyched to see this teaser trailer released this week ahead of season two, even though it is exactly that, a teaser trailer, and one that poses more questions than it answers. Consider us teased.
But, obviously, nobody in the UK has seen the first season of Lena Dunham's Girls yet. It is impossible to view this show in the UK, so none of you have seen it. Absolutely nobody has found a way to see some of the best comedy produced in years. Nobody reading this has seen the Judd Apatow-produced series. Nope. Nobody. Nope.
Actually wait, no. It's possible some people flew to America, watched it all in one week, then flew back, their heads full of knowledge, their stomachs aching from chuckles. That is plausible. Any other way of watching it would get you slammed in jail.
Okay let's talk
So now that legal disclaimer is out of the way, let's talk about the Lena Dunham series Girls: it's back! Soon! And here is the teaser trailer! Obviously this is all a bit previous, seeing as season two isn't expected to drop in the US until January, but this is still the first glimpse we've seen of Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna since the last episode aired in June. Also there is a man sniffing a shoe in the video. Such mystery!
MARVEL as they continue to lead achingly hip little New York lives! GASP as they still have problems dealing with being an adult! WATCH as they make never-before-seen jokes that hit a little-too-close-to-home about how disappointed all of our parents are in us!
Seriously, no, this is excellent news. Just stop reading like a loser and go watch the teaser trailer like a winner and see. And if your appetite for season two is whetted, just you wait until Sky Atlantic starts showing season one this October.
