The Saturdays are launching a reality TV show because everyone likes a good reality TV show
Frankie has a dollar sign necklace, if you look closely. AMERICA.

Has anybody seen The Saturdays? Not, like, ever – we mean recently. Check down the back of your sofa. Is there an Una Healy down there, caught among the pennies and detritus? Did someone leave a Mollie King on top of the fridge? Have you got a Frankie Sandford hanging up in the hallway by where you keep your keys?

Well, no. The Saturdays are not lurking in your house under a pile of old phone bills or in a shoebox under your bed – they are in fact in America, land of guns and BBQs, where they are hoping to ‘make it’.

Imagine them stood in front of America, instead of 'some barrels'

Making it

Here is a list of British bands who have ‘made it’ in America in the last ten years: One Direction.

Well, now that list is over, onto the big news: The Saturdays are hoping to augment their making of it in America by launching a new reality TV show on E!, called, wait for it: Chasing The Saturdays.

CHASE THEM.

Premiere

Yes, yes. The US premiere of the new half-hour Saturday-a-thon is set to air at 10pm on January 20th. “Oh,” you’re thinking. “That must be on a Saturday, seeing as it is about The Saturdays.” It is not. It is on a Sunday. A UK premiere is supposedly in the works, so we hope our domestic TV schedulers have a little more foresight and decide to air the show on a band-appropriate day.
