Oh, Kat. Derek Branning? Really. We’re shocked that Kat’s lover man is Derek, but her husband Alfie Moon is furious - and in true Easties style tonight we’ll see the Queen Vic landlord punch the Branning brother.
To which we say good!
To be fair, it wouldn’t have mattered who Kat was cheating with Alfie would still be in heartbroken – the fact that it’s Derek just adds insult to injury.
After months and months of speculation, last night we watched – literally on the edge of our seats and open mouthed – as Alfie followed Kat to a secret bedsit (mmm, betsit – romantic) and demanded to know who she’s been sleeping with.
Arriving back at the Vic, Alfie soon discovered that Derek is the one.
But this is EastEnders so the drama isn’t over yet. During scenes to be shown tonight, Derek will head to the Vic to confront Alfie and fists start flying…
“After finding out the truth about his wife’s affair, Alfie throws everyone out of The Vic,” a BBC spokesperson reveals.
“However, it is not long before Derek arrives to speak to him but rather than help the situation, Derek maliciously makes things worse.
“Losing his temper, Alfie hits Derek and tells him never to step foot in his pub again.”
Ahhh, Christmas is always such a happy time on EastEnders. Poor old Alfie, eh?
