Who were they?
There were five of them - Scott Robinson, Ritchie Neville, Abs Breen, Sean Conlon and J Brown - and they were the brainshild of Simon Cowell. They split up in 2001, after selling over 15million records worldwide, and having had 11 top ten singles in the UK.

What have they been up to?
They briefly reunited in 2006, but without J (who also isn't doing the show - so they're more 4our really.) Abz (formerly Abs) had a brief solo career, while Scott was on Celebrity Scissorhands and Ritchie opened his own bar in Sydney.

Who were they?
The original threesome of Kerry katona, Liz McClarnon and Natasha Hamilton formed in 1997. Sugababes' Heidi Range left before they got a deal. Jenny Frost replaced Kerry in 2001, but this is the original line-up back together.

What have they been up to?
Kerry Katona's done it all, obvs. Liz McClarnon presented Hotter Than My Daughter on BBC3 and appeared on Celebrity Love Island and Celebrity Masterchef. Natasha Hamilton has become a stage star, appearing in Blood Brothers in the West End, plus panto.

They were formed in the 2001 series of ITV's pre-X Factor show Popstars and consisted of Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, Michelle Heaton, Kelli Young and Jessica Taylor. They had ten consecutive UK top 20 singles. Ten!

What have they been up to?
They quit in 2007, but reformed a year later for a one-off show. Michelle became a reality TV star and best mate to Katie Price, Kevin had a solo album that was released in Japan, Tony makes films, Jessica has modelled for Ultimo and Kelli has twins.

Boyband from 1995 to 2000, featuring Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constable and Spike Dawbarn. They had ten top ten hits in the UK, and announced their split live on Chris Moyles' Radio 1 show.

Lee married Lindsay Armaou off B*Witched and they've all done bits and bobs of TV work, including an appearance by Spike on Never Mind The Buzzcocks' identity parade. Phil Jupitus' team didn;t pick him out.

Irish girl group formed in 1998 and featuring twins Edele and Keavy Lynch (Boyzone's Shane Lynch's kid sisters, don't you know...), plus Lindsay Armaou and Sinead O'Carroll. They had two hit albums and eight top 20 singles, but they split in 2002.

The twins formed an act called Barbarellas and made an album vcalled Night Mode, which reached number 143 in 2011, Lindsay married 911's Lee Brennan and Sinead became a TV presenter in Ireland.

Who were they?
Girlband formed in 1997, consisting of the brilliantly named Celena Cherry, Heavenli Abdi and Naima Belkhiati (who left in 2005 and is now a mum). They split in 2009, when Celena was quoted as saying there was "zero chance of Honeyz ever getting back together".

Celena appeared on Hollyoaks, while Mariama Goodman, who joined when Heavenli dropped out of the band, became a midwife. Heavenli's had four kids.
