The first picture of the new EastEnders faaaaaahmliy - featuring Danny Dyer - has been revealed.
The Carter family, which includes dad Mick (Danny) and mum Linda (Kelly Bright) along with kids Johnny and Nancy (played by Sam Strike and Maddy Hill respectively), will arrive in Albert Square later this year and will immediately take over running the Queen Vic.
We already love everything about Walford’s latest residents, from Linda’s purple Lycra leggings, to the cuteness of their bull dog, to the excellent way that Danny’s character has been styled. He is lookin’ hot.
The Carters will join Shirley (Linda Henry) and Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White), with Tina making her debut on the Square next month.
“My team have worked incredibly hard over the past few months to create the Carters - a contemporary British family with cracks, knocked edges and a touch of darkness that is going to make them very special to watch.
“A family of strong characters who love and hate each other, all rooted in the best traditions of EastEnders,” says executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins of the new arrivals.
We think the Carters could be just what EastEnders needs to liven things up a bit.
