When Ellie Goulding was picked to sing at the biggest event of the year, hell, the decade, we thought there might be a chance the singer might let it all go to her head. No sign of it so far. She’s still just as happy performing on stage at a festival as she is chilling in her hometown of Hereford.
Juts in case part of her has gone through a Royal change, her tummy for instance, the Virgin Media Louder Lounge crew are putting together a variety of special Royal snacks to keep our Royal wedding singer happy. Apparently the caterers for the VIP lounge at V Festival are busy creating a super high class menu with treats such as lightly smoked mackerel fillets marinated in sweet chilli sauce and minted butterfly lamb. Oooer! The rest of us will have to stick to takeaway burgers and cider. As if all of that pampering for the tummy wasn’t enough, there’s even talk of Ellie getting her very own McVites fridge cake! You know, the cake Prince Wills asked for. The one that got scoffed at the reception.
V Festival will take place on 20th and 21st August in Weston Park and Hylands Park. The line up is pretty darn amazing, with artists such as Rihanna, Tinie Tempah and the Arctic Monkeys all set to play their music-loving hearts out. With Alex Turner all free ‘n’ single now, we wonder whether there’ll be a rock/pop romance starting in the VIP section?
