OK, so yesterday we showed you Marc Jacobs' CRAZY new shoe range – and whatever drove him to design such madness is clearly having an effect on his boyfriend Jason Preston, too. Preston wore this DEAD MOUSE, fashioned into a brooch, to a New York Fashion Week party on Monday. Jacobs is no stranger to using fur and animal skin in his top-of-the-line range, but Preston’s rodent accessory was too much for some at the Manhattan bash. When a disgusted photographer asked him to remove it, he refused saying Courtney Love had given it to him as a present. A repulsed PETA spokeswoman, part of a team monitoring use of animals during Fashion Week, said, “When your only claim to fame is that you date a designer, I guess you go to extremes to gain attention."
