And the story is just as juicy as we’d hoped (well, as just as juicy as it could be without Lindsay Lohan being involved, anyway), in that it wasn’t just a boring DIY incident or something. When we first brought you pictures of Calum’s shiner the other day, we tried our best to find out how he’d acquired it, but he was keeping schtum – but it turns out he was embarrassed, because, according to friends of the legendary lothario, Calum got punched for chatting up someone’s wife! Hee hee! Calum was on a night out in Puerto Banus in Spain, when he decided to turn on the charm (yes, he does have some, apparently) for a foxy lady, who seemed to be on her own. When the lady’s husband emerged from the toilets and saw Calum cracking on to his missus, he wasn’t impressed but, rather than confronting Calum outright, hatched a cunning plan. The bloke asked Calum to pose for a photo and, clearly overwhelmed with gratitude at being recognised, Calum agreed and grinned at the camera – but instead of taking a photo, the man walloped him instead. Oh dear. Now, we don’t condone violence, but there is definitely an element of Calum finally getting what he deserves, isn’t there?
