Naomi Campbell is still in court awaiting sentence after pleading guilty to assaulting police officers and abusing cabin crew during a tense showdown over lost luggage at Heathrow’s Terminal 5. The supermodel has just found out that she probably won’t be going to jail, and will more like receive a community penalty (yes, another one) and a fine when she’s officially sentenced later today. However, shocking details about the incident have now been made public – it turns out that Naomi spat at two policemen, kicked one in the groin and another in the shins, and then flopped to the floor like a child when she was handcuffed and forcibly removed from her BA flight. Additionally, Naomi accused the flight captain of being racist, screaming “You are a racist, you would not be doing this if I was white. It's because I'm a black woman, you are all racist, I'm going to sue you. I'm going to f*** you. It's just because I'm black and famous.” According to prosecutor Melanie Parrish, “Miss Campbell was clearly upset and explained to them the reason why this was so awful for her was that she was contracted to wear a particular Yves Saint Laurent outfit on a US chat show and it was in the bag that hadn't been loaded.” Naomi’s defence laywer Simon Nicholls said that his client accepted that she had lost control and had apologised to police but “can't say she is quite so sorry towards BA and I don't think she'll be troubling them with her custom again.” Hmm, bet they’re gutted…
No jail time for Naomi
