David and Victoria Beckham’s former housekeepers will not face charges over accusations that they stole from the couple. Eric and June Emmett and their son Gareth were arrested back in October on suspicion of theft from the mansion known as Beckingham Palace in Sawbridgeworth, Herts after Posh’s parents spotted some of her clothes on sale on eBay, along with other rare memorabilia including football boots emblazoned with Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo’s names. “After consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, no further action has been taken at this stage against the three people arrested in connection with an allegation of theft from the Sawbridgeworth home of David and Victoria Beckham,” said Hertfordshire Police this afternoon. “The injured party in this case is aware of the status of the investigation.” At the time of his arrest, Eric Emmett described the allegations as “fabricated nonsense”.
