Three days up the mountain, and all is not well for the Kilimanjiro-trekking celebs – as the pressure (and the altitude) mounts. Fearne Cotton has been suffering a series of nosebleeds as the nine-strong group gets closer to the summit. Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Denise Van Outen and Alesha Dixon were reduced to tears when they stopped at camp last night after seeing a fellow climber in another group being taken to a lower height on the mountain after he suffered from altitude sickness. Cheryl said, “He looked scared, really frightened. It really shook me up, shook all of us up. You feel really strange at this altitude anyway, emotional and strange – then to see that really got to us. I started to wonder if I was suffering from it too, but I'm alright and we've got each other to help us get through and hopefully get all the way to the top.” But it’s not all doom and gloom. The group celebrated Ronan Keating’s 32nd birthday up the mountain with a rendition of Happy Birthday and a barrage of balloons, cards, and a massive birthday cake.
