This is TOO sweet
When we first watched this clip, we admit, a little tear did come to our eye. Partly because Tom Daley's sweet dad is just sooo proud of his son, but also because it's hilarious how embarrassed the teenager is about the whole thing. Speaking at the press conference for his diving champ son Tom Daley, who at just 15 has won the gold medal in the 10m platform diving at the World Championships in Rome, Rob Daley gushes, "I represent Tom Daley. He's my son." His eyes filling with tears, the dad then says, "Can I have a cuddle, Tom? Come and give me a cuddle, please." Little Tom hurries over to much cheering, but then says, "Dad, this is reeeally embarrassing." Bless him. We love it. It's just such a show of pure emotion.
