Former boxer star Chris Eubank has revealed that he’s spent £31,000 in a bid to get rid of his famous lisp – and ended up with a whistle instead. The 43
year-old had 28 porcelain crowns fitted by Dublin based dentist Barry Buckley in the hope that closing the gap between his two front teeth would cure the speech impediment which has blighted his life. But although the expensive cosmetic treatment means he no longer lisps when pronouncing words with a ‘s’ in them, he lets out a high-pitched whistle instead. The ex-Celebrity Big Brother star says, “Officially the lisp has gone. However, I now have a whistle. I’ve jumped out of the frying pan into the fire." Aww, poor Chrith.
