We felt a bit sorry for Paula Abdul when we heard she wasn’t returning to American Idol due to a pay dispute. But it seems that the former pop star is doing rather well out of her departure. Not only is she rumoured to have been offered roles on rival shows Dancing With The Stars and So You Think You Can Dance, but now she’s gone and landed herself a part on Ugly Betty. It’s thought that the 47-year-old will play a temp at Mode who swiftly becomes BFF with bitchy receptionist Amanda. Maybe her and Posh - who has also guest-starred on the hit show and recently stepped in as a judge on American Idol – are involved in some kind of job-swap scheme?
