Time to get serious for a minute as we bring you what has to be one of the most shocking showbiz stories of the year. A Brazilian TV presenter – who
hosts the country’s version of Crimewatch – has been accused of ordering executions in a bid to boost his ratings on the daily crime programme. Yes,
really. Police who raided Wallace Souza’s home discovered £90,000 in cash, various weapons and the names of four recently murdered men scribbled down on a piece of paper. Souza, who is also a popular MP, has been accused of being involved in a criminal organization, and it’s even been alleged that
his son Raphael may carried out some of the killings, and would then tip off his dad so he and his camera crew could be the first to arrive at the crime
scenes. 50 year-old Souza denies he is involved in anything untoward and claims he is the victim of a “plot” against him. It’s all rather terrifying,
isn’t it? We can’t imagine that nice Nick Ross doing anything like this.
