There's lots of things we hate about winter: cold toes, the fact that it's dark at 5pm, our hair looking like a scarecrow's... But there is one good thing, and that's the sheer number of celeb parties. You can't swing a JEdward these days without news of another swanky awards 'do popping up in your inbox. However, this one is the best we've heard about in ages – and YOU could be going.
The Variety Club, one of UK’s longest running charities dedicated to sick, disabled and disadvantaged children and young people, is hosting its star-studded award ceremony, The Variety Club’s 57th Annual Showbiz Awards 2009 on Sunday 15 November at the very posh Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London. Alesha Dixon, Jon Culshaw, Nick Knowles, Zoe Salmon and The Saturdays are just some of the stars confirmed to attend. Not olny will it be a celeb-packed party to rival all others, but the night will also be broadcast on FIVE on Sunday 22 November 6pm.
heatworld and The Variety Club are offering one lucky user the chance to win a pair of tickets (worth £225 each) to the event, entitling the winner to see leading personalities receive awards for their contributions to the world of entertainment. Previous winners have included Keira Knightly, Sir Michael Caine, Jude Law and Al Pacino.
