1.    Open to UK residents aged 18 or over except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

2.    Entry to the competition is free and no purchase is necessary.

4.    No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete, or corrupted entries will be accepted.  Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.

7.    Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

8.    The Prize: there is one prize consisting of [one night’s accommodation for the winner and a friend at Kilns Hotel on 14 September 2012], [attendance at, as well as food and drink at the Sugar Hut Brentford for two people, up to the value of £300 as well as full access at the Sugar Hut on the same night], [Two bottles of limited edition Surf Summer D’reem for the winner and a chosen friend] and [the chance to meet and greet with two TOWIE cast members (which may or may not be Joey Essex and/or Gemma Collins)]. Reasonable travel expenses up to £300 will be included, although a receipt will be necessary to claim the expense. Any accommodation will be organised and pre booked by the Promoter, no additional costs other than accommodation will be paid and any additional costs will not be covered. The person accompanying the winner must also be over 18.

9.  The winner and the winner’s companion must be able to attend the event on [14 September 2012]. The Promoter reserves the right to change this date at any time.

10.    The first valid entry drawn at random from all the entries received by the Closing Date will win the Prize. In the event of any dispute the decision of the Promoter is final. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value. In particular, there is no prize value attributed to the meet and greet with two TOWIE cast members. No correspondence will be entered into.  There is no cash alternative. 

11.    The winner will be notified by telephone or email within 1 day of the closing date. The winner must claim their prize within 2 days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the promotion rules.

12.    The winner’s details (name and county) will be made available on request to those writing to "Unilever/Surf team, GolinHarris, Fox Court, 14 Gray’s Inn Road, London, WC1X 8WS" within ten weeks after the closing date, enclosing a stamped SAE.

13.    The winner and their chosen friend may be required to participate in publicity arising from this promotion, including at Sugar Hut.

14.   The Promoter takes no responsibility for winners actions whilst at the Sugar Hut or allocated travel or accommodation.

15.    By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. All entry instructions form part of the rules.

14.    These terms and conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.

Additional terms relating to Holiday Prizes

Where holiday prizes include a place for a travelling companion (i.e. a holiday for the prize winner plus guest) then these terms also apply to those persons.
Unless otherwise stated, insurance is not provided as part of any holiday prize.  It will be each prize winner’s and (if applicable) their travelling companion's responsibility to take out at their own cost all relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to be taken. All insurance, spending money and other expenses, unless otherwise stated, are costs for the prize winner and are not provided as part of any holiday prize.
Unless otherwise stated, holiday prizes do not include airport departure or government taxes. These must be paid by the prize winner and any travelling companion.
Prize winners and their travelling companions must comply with the terms and limitations of airlines, other transport providers, and the venues involved in the provision of any holiday prize, including any insurance policy relating to the holiday. In particular, entrants must comply with all health and safety guidelines and instructions and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Additional terms relating to Events Prizes
Where the prize for any of our Competitions involve the winner's attendance at (or tickets to) an event, the prize winner acknowledges that the Promoter is not liable or responsible if any part of the event is cancelled, varied or rescheduled for any reason.  If this means that the winner (and/or any accompanying guests) cannot attend the relevant event, we shall be under no obligation to provide any cash or alternative tickets.
Where prizes comprise or include "meet and greet" elements with celebrities, the prize may be subject to the availability of the celebrity in question and we will have no liability for any inability or failure of any prizewinner to attend any "meet and greet" session offered on any date nor will we offer any alternative prize or cash alternative or compensation for such failure
