Olympic silver medallist Gemma Gibbons might have come second in the judo at the Olympic Games this summer but she has just taken gold in the little-known sport of 'breaking Royal protocol and tweeting a picture of the Queen's toilet'.
BEFORE YOU LOOK, IMAGINE: What would your toilet look like if you were Queen? Ours, for example, would be made of platinum, with a diamond-encrusted seat. We would have at least two sixteen-packs of four-ply loo roll in the room at all times. And we would have one of those delightful figurines of a lady in a dress to sit over the active roll, too, probably with our own face on it.
Anyway here's the Queen's loo:

WHAT is THAT? It's made of WOOD. There's a PATTERNED CARPET in there. There is an inexplicable and gilded CHAIR. What the heck, the Queen? Up your toilet game, girl!
According to reports, Gemma was at the palace and taking pictures of the throne as part of a glittering reception thrown for all the Paralympic and Olympic athletes. Yeah, that's what a silver medal gets you. Better than your Blue Peter badge, isn't it.
Anyway, our sincere congratulations to Gemma Gibbons for doing exactly what we all would do if invited to such an event. Stay tuned this week to find out the answer to the question: can you get arrested for tweeting pictures of the Queen's toilet?
