I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here favourites Mark Wright and Dougie Poynter have secured their place through to the show’s final tomorrow night after two fellow celebs received the boot on tonight's show.
The first celeb to leave the jungle tonight, in fourth place, was serial whiner Antony Cotton. When interviewed by Ant and Dec after being given the news that he received the lowest amount of public votes, Antony said he was “absolutely gutted” he couldn’t make it to the final. The Coronation Street star says,
"I've come this far so I'm gutted…But I did what I could do and I'm amazed that I lasted that long…You can't ever plan for it. Every part of it was emotional and exciting and I've genuinely loved every minute…It's at once the most liberating feeling you can ever have and then on the other side you feel like you're locked in and you can't run away."
The celebrity to finish 3rd place in this series of I’m A Celeb was former olympian Fatima Whitbread. The star was told she had to leave the jungle and instead of being bitter at losing out on the crown, she said,
"[It has] been an enormous journey for me and sharing it amongst other new-found friends has been a real pleasure…It would have been nice to go through the finishing line first but there have been some very tough contenders this year."
Fatima also reminded us of the moment a cockroach become lodged in her nose during a bushtucker trial, thanks Fatima.
"There [was] something alien in [my] body and I could feel its leg scratching up there." Hands up, who thinks they’ll be having nightmares tonight?
Both Antony and Fatimer were seen as rivals in the show as they tended to snipe at each other, but Fatima said on the topic,
"I've grown to love Antony, he's a good man. But [he is] larger than life and I do feel sometimes he would like to skive a little bit."
Tune in tomorrow at 9.30pm on ITV1 to see Dougie and Mark go head to head to try and become head of the jungle.
