Fiesta Summer Tour: Guide

You’ve heard all the festival nightmares: blocked toilets, pouring rain, lost friends, and worst of all… NO POWER LEFT ON YOUR PHONE!

What to take

What should you take? In short, very little! You don’t want to be weighed down and be a sweaty Betty before it all kicks off, so make sure you only carry the things you really need.

These are your absolute essentials:

Tent
Probably the single most important thing you’ll take, unless you’re posh and are staying in a hotel!  Make sure it comes with a groundsheet and top sheet. It’s also probably best to have a trial run setting it up at home, to avoid any embarrassing peg-related mishaps. Ooops!

Sleeping bag
As much as everyone likes to sleep in a soft bed, let's be honest, you’re not going to be doing much of that! Go for something that’ll keep you warm, but anything too thick and you’ll be sweating like Carrie Bradshaw in polyester!

Ear-plugs

Most festival guides don’t have these nifty little blighters down as an essential item, but considering your tent isn’t going to be sound proof we think they’re worth the investment! After all, it’s that or endure nocturnal activities of the happy campers next door… we know what we’d choose!

Cash

Always a good thing to have! Most festivals have ATMs, but never assume. Sometimes things can go wrong, so make sure you’ve take enough cash to get you through the basics.

Toilet roll

OK, so nobody said festivals were going to be a walk in the park, and aside from the wash-in shampoo, make sure you take a few bog rolls!
