Tune In

The great thing about digital radio is you get loads of extra features like scrolling text, digital quality sound and no hissing interference.

heat Radio broadcasts across the country on Sky  0179 and Freeview 714, but also on DAB Digital Radio, which means you can listen to us on the bus, on the train or even while you’re in the car!

DAB is a portable version of Freeview, but for radio. You get loads of extra stations including Q, Smash Hits and heat*, and best of all it’s subscription free. We get lots of messages from people wanting to tune in on their mobile phone or FM radio. Heat doesn’t broadcast on a frequency that can be picked up on a standard/old fangled radio. You’ll need a spanking new digital radio or television set top box.  DAB Digital Radios are usually around £30 but if you shop around you might be able to pick up a bargain! (There are loads on here www.digitalradionow.com). You’ll also need to be in a digital coverage area, but don’t worry DAB Digital Radio covers almost 90% of the UK, and you’ll always be able to get us on Sky/Freeview wherever you live.

To help you see how you can get us in different area, we’ve put together a little map.

If you’ve got any problems/questions/issues relating to listening to us through digital radio or digital television email the Radio heat Geekstudio@heatradio.com
