Best: Patent
Yep, you’ve guessed it, the patent trend’s a sticker. Out-shining metallic frocks and over-sized arm candy in the '07 wardrobe hall of fame. You probably have the patent bag, belt and the mac. You may have even begun petitioning for new patent cars, houses and menfolk, too. Seen striding along the catwalks of Chanel and Miu Miu, and decorating celebrity folk galore, if you haven't already, it’s about time to pick up some patent.
Worst: Over-the-knee socks
Oh Sarah Jessica Parker, you've got a lot to answer for. As soon as she strutted out onto the set of the SATC movie in a pair of over-the-knee socks we totally forgot that, a) we're not 12, b) we only go to the gym to use the sauna, and c) it gets cold in this country. Really bloody cold. After we'd seen the tenth girl on the train with a terrible case of TMT – thigh muffin top – we regained our senses.
