Crocs were kind of cool for about 12 seconds in 2006, but ever since our nan started wearing them to do the gardening, they’ve been a major fashion no-no – but still, some people insist on corrupting their pretty tootsies with the garish lumps of plastic. However, generally they’re found on the feet of people traipsing around shopping centres, not swanning around at red-carpet events. With this in mind, we were pretty shocked when we saw this shot of Brooke Shields teaming the hideous items with a glamorous/tent-like pink outfit to a do at a fancy restaurant. To be fair to Brooke, she did have a foot operation a few months ago, so comfort probably takes priority over style for her at the moment, but surely she could have found something less aesthetically offensive? Jeez, she might even look better (and comfier, too) if she just wore giant novelty Garfield slippers…
