When Peaches Geldof announced that she was going into fashion, nobody took her very seriously – but it turns out that the range she’s designed for high-end label PPQ is going incredibly well. So well, in fact, that Peaches’ involvement is expanding. The original range was not exactly accessible to your average Primarni-wearer, with prices starting at hundreds of pounds, but she’s set to design some new pieces for them, to be launched in the spring – with high street price tags. “'We had a meeting to discuss expanding the range,” says label boss Percy Pig Parker. “We're going to make it a lot more accessible, in different shops around the country and on the Internet. It's going to be much more accessible, but not as cheap as Topshop. Peaches gets a lot of bad press but that's just because if she doesn't think someone is cool, she won't make the effort or give them any time.” Would you proudly wear Peaches’ wares, or would you rather go out dressed as a Christmas pudding?
