Hollywood stylist Rachel Zoe has been described as “the woman who invented skinny” and while we’re not sure a person can actually invent a body shape, she did help Nicole Richie transform from Paris Hilton’s curvy sidekick into a well-dressed but shockingly thin star in her own right. Rachel has been widely blamed for the Hollywood “trend” for looking emaciated – and it’s not difficult to see why. Size-zero Rachel drew gasps when she stepped out at a Christmas fundraiser on Sunday night – and, although she denies having an eating disorder, she has admitted that food isn’t her priority. When asked if she eats lunch, she said “Truth? I don't. I'm not a lady who lunches; it's a lull in the day." Instead, she says she’ll often get to 7pm having only had “a coffee and a grapefruit” all day. “Truthfully, I've never seen myself as being too thin," she reveals. "Sometimes I'll look at photos and be like, 'Oh, that's not a good look.' But generally speaking, I'm not too thin. We've had Audrey Hepburn, we've had Twiggy, we've had Veruschka, we've had Kate Moss. I'm trying to figure out why I am to blame for skinniness.” We agree that it’s unfair to blame one woman for other people’s weight issues, but we’ve also never seen Kate Moss with a rib-cage like that. There’s thin, and then there’s frighteningly skinny, and Rachel definitely falls into the second category…
This photo is shocking!
