If we were pals with Kate Moss, we’d certainly ask her for fashion advice and possibly the odd cocktail recipe. However, we definitely wouldn’t ask her for help with our love life – she hardly has the most impressive back catalogue of men, does she? OK, so there was Johnny Depp, but even he was a bit dodgy in those days. Anyhoo, Lily Allen clearly disagrees – apparently she’s roped Kate into a spot of matchmaking, and she’s more than happy to oblige. “Kate sees Lily's looking for a father figure and she knows plenty of people who'd happily take her on a date,” says a friend of the model. “She wants to make sure Lily finds the man perfect for her.” Only the other day Lily semi-joked that she likes her men “old and rich”, so hopefully that rules Pete Doherty out at least.
