It’s hard to believe that, not so long ago, Nicola Roberts was considered (by some people – not us, we’ve always adored her!) to be the runt of the Girls Aloud litter. These days, she’s pretty much the coolest girl in the band – OK, so Cheryl’s pretty funky too, but real fashionistas are all about the Roberts. Nicola proved last night at the Brits that she’s up there with proper Hollywood types when it comes to fashion, wearing this stunning J Mendel mermaid-inspired gown. It’s a couple of years old though – our favourite Ugly Betty uber-bitch Becki Newton wore it to the Emmy Awards back in 2007.
