Now, we don’t generally regard £7,000 to be a bargain, but we’re actually quite surprised that that’s how much Carrie Bradshaw’s dress is selling for online – we’d expect to see another zero on the end. The striking Vivienne Westwood gown which Carrie wore in the Sex And The City movie when she attempted to marry Big went on sale via every fashionista’s favourite website Net A Porter yesterday – and it's totally sold out already! There’s now a waiting list for the champagne silk gown, which costs $9,875 in American money – ie relatively cheap, considering it’s such an iconic dress. Still, perhaps people don’t want to jinx their own nuptials by getting married in something Carrie was so famously jilted in. So, would you pay £7,000 to look just like Carrie on her wedding day, or would you stick with something a bit more classic? Oh and, do you think they’d throw in the dead bird headpiece in for an extra fiver? If so, we're totally sold. Now we just need to find a husband... anyone?!
