Now, if you asked us what we’d expect to see on the red carpet at a country music shindig, we’d be picturing gingham, cowboy boots and lots of heaving bosoms. So, now that we’ve seen these pictures from this weekend’s Academy of Country Music Awards, we need to get rid of all those stereotypes, as it was full of pretty dresses that didn’t come from a bargain basement in Nashville. Miley Cyrus’ long gown/side ponytail combo has us very confused about whether she’s 42 or five, while other stars played it a bit more safe (well, safe as long as they don’t spill any ketchup, anyway) in simple white frocks.
