The spring sunshine is still having trouble making it through all the gloomy clouds, but that didn't stop a whole host of – let's call them adventurous – ladies from throwing on their glad rags for the first day of the Grand National Meet. It looks to us as if the rule of the day was to clash as many colours as possible. Either that, or there are a lot of colour blind ladies in Aintree. We could quite happily gaze in horrified awe at these outfits all day. We're not sure if it's the black lace footless tights we love the most, or the Ronseal-tanned lady in the peach minidress, or even the, ahem, sea-green adorned blonde.
