After a long day of celeb gossip and style watching, we really needed a nice cold glass of champagne in the company of lovely people. Thank god for Lily Allen and her sister Sarah Owen!
Lils and Sarah launched their pop up shop, Lucy in Disguise, in Covent Garden last night. We arrived and were greeted by a mass of paparazzi and Lily’s dad Keith! Mr Allen looked very proud as he wandered around his daughter’s shop which is packed to rafters with beautiful clothes and accessories.
We took ourselves downstairs where shoppers can have their tresses primped and teased with Bumble & Bumble goodies. And there’s something for the blokes too. Bored and tired of looking at frock after frock? Leave your boyf in the PlayStation Move room; he’ll be plenty entertained in there leaving you free to enjoy your shopping.
Lily finally arrived, dressed in a long black dress with a white peter pan collar and a gorgeous quilted overcoat. She spent the evening chatting to guests and showing them around the many rails of lovely frocks.
We were pleasantly surprised to see Lily’s ex boyf, Seb Chew, on the decks spinning some funky tunes. Best buddy Miquita Oliver was also there as was Nick Grimshaw, Daisy Lowe, Jaime Winstone, Professor Green, Rachel Stevens, Frankie Sandford, Meg Matthews, Gizzi Erskine, La Roux, Little Boots and Julian MacDonald.
