She’s one of our fave popstrels but it took more than a couple of gawps for us to recognise Jessie J at last nights Glamour awards. Winning the woman of tomorrow award she was virtually unrecognisable with a Hollywood inspired wavy do and uber glam Dolce & Gabbana strapless frock.
We love her trademark graphic bob and nu rave styling but have to say this soft and pretty look really suits her with the only downside being she does now remind us ever so slightly of Imogen Thomas. Do you see what we mean? Or have we gone mental?

Here’s our heat guide on how to get the Jessie J look
- This is best on day old hair as freshly washed will be too slippy. Create a side parting and spray each section with a light mist of hairspray.
- Using a medium sized tong curl sections of your hair, pinning each curl in a coil against your head as you go. This will mean your curls cool in the shape you want them to be and will last much longer.
- Once you’ve done your whole head unpin the curls and brush through lightly with a bristle brush.
- A spritz of hairspray with added shine and you’re done!
