She's had more hair styles than Katie Price has had book launches (hang on, maybe not).
Now Rihanna's gone and done it again - debuting a darker 'do while out shopping in Beverley Hills last night.
The singer single-handedly spearheaded the trend for Rihanna-Red locks back in 2010 (which is just as well what with her name being Rihanna and everything) with big names like Cher Lloyd and Charlotte Church soon following suit.
At the time she said of her red locks: "I was ready for something new, something loud [incidentally the name of her 5th studio album] something expressive and something fun. I'd had blonde hair and it was so boring for me.
Black is still my favourite colour, but this time I wanted something edgier because I don't like the edgy clothes any more. I guess I had to take the edge somewhere else - my hair!"
But it seems the star's finally had enough "edge", opting for a more natural chesnut hue for her (presumably wacky fashion) shopping trip.
The chances are she'd changed her colour once more before reaching the till point. And twice while you've been reading this.
But that doesn't mean we can't all kick back and spend the rest of Friday debating where we like to wear our "edge" and whether Riri's latest look is RiRilly hot or RiRilly not.
