Do you have a new book / clothing line / husband to promote? Probably not, but do read on:

Because if you're anything like Katie Price (and again, you're probably not) you'll know that the secret to any successful product launch (be it a new book / clothing line or husband) is big hair and spandex. And if you can't get your hands on either of them, it's best to go naked.

This week Ms Price has shown how versatile product launch outfits can be, accessorizing a Lycra onesie with her latest book The Comeback Girl, worn as a belt. [NB clothing lines and husbands can be worn in much the same way].

But while we admire her style efforts, the same can't be said for her attempt at getting into the record books. Katie had challenged CHESS CHAMPION and Guinness World Record holder Anatoli Karpov for signing the most books at a launch and (alas) failed to beat his 1,951 record.

She thanked her fans regardless saying: "I loved every minute of the day - my fans really are the best and it was great so many of them came out to try and help me do this."

Not enough though, eh Katie?

Nevermind, every cloud has a silver (spandex all-in-one) lining. So let's put a smile on Comeback Girl Katie's face - and comment on her top launch looks to date...
