Remember when the only leather in your wardrobe came in the form of your shoes and maybe the occasional leather jacket? That was before leather became the fabric of choice for everything from shift dresses and leggings to itsy bitsy hotpants. The A-list way to wear leather right now is with a pair of shorts. Classic black is still the fave shade with stars like Nicky Hilton and supermodel Karolina Kurkova treating them like denim and teaming them with dressed down basics but there’s room for colour too with Olivia Palermo choosing an autumnal brown and Kourtney Kardashian opting for cream. A word of warning though, keep the rest of your look pared down to avoid looking too, ahem, “sexy”- are you listening, Kimberley Wyatt?
