We actually let out an audible squeal when we saw these new pics from the Versace for H&M collection. The features team even turned around to see what it was we were making such a fuss about. The collection, launched on 17th November is packed full of pieces inspired by Versace’s bright history. And we love every single item.
With LBDs, slinky chain mail frocks and hot Pink studded shifts, there really is something for everyone. We could totes see Mollie King rocking this structured bodice black dress with some stonking heels! And how cool is the wrist strap with the iconic Versace lion head? We’re going to be adding this to our everyday look for an instant hit of cool.
The mid-length black dress with OTT gold button detail is so ‘90s Elizabeth Hurley but also very, very similar to the Versace number Cheryl Cole wore to the National Television Awards earlier this year. We love.
If Eliza Doolittle doesn’t snap up the bright Pink, fringed dress we’ll eat our hats. And those palm-print legging are a must-have happy piece for our wintery wardrobes.
Donatella Versace has said of the high street collaboration, "The collection for H&M is the essence of Versace. For the collaboration we've brought back from the archives, as well as from more recent collections, some of the icons of Versace such as the bright prints, the Greek key and daring cuts. I can't wait to see how H&M’s wide audience will make these pieces their own."
Donatella, we can’t thank you enough. We’ll be setting our alarms nice and early the morning of the 17th! See you at the tills…
