The stars come out for Halloween

We often wish we were the other side of the pond- usually when it’s pouring down here and we’re inundated with sunny shots of flip flop clad celebs in L.A but we save our extreme jealousy for the 31st October when the whole of the US goes crazy for Halloween. Whereas over here the odd rubbishly carved pumpkin, surly teenager demanding chocolate or shoddy pair of cat ears is about as far as we go, Stateside they go all out.
Case in point, Halloween queen, Heidi Klum, pulled out all the stops, arriving as a dead body on a mortuary trolley whilst Jess Wright turned up to her Halloween bash as a “sexy” cheerleader. No contest. Take a look at our gallery for all the other celeb Halloween looks.

    @ Mint - Back when I was young enough to trick or treat we didn't have such a veriety of outfits to buy in shops and people just made their own. You can't get away with black sacks these days, it's just lazyness.

    When did the UK start carving pumpkins and trick or treating? Never did it in my day. Oh no, am so old.

    Its an American holiday apart from pumpkin carving I have no love for this day.

    Totally agree with the lack of enthusiasm over here. My next door neighbour's kid knocked yesterday demanding chocolate wearing a witches hat and then tried to run off with my whole supply. Last year I had a kid knock wearing a bin bag...
