One of our favourite things to do when December finally rears it's icy head is to have a look back through some of the loveliest outfits those celeb-types have been nice enough to wear. We like doing this so much, we thought we'd share the fun with you! Here are some of the fittest frocks 'n' looks from January and February 2011...

Blake Lively started off the year in style, perfectly accessorizing her aubergine Marchesa statement-shoulder frock with turquoise jewellery and matching patent heels. Blogger and new girl on the style scene, Bip Ling chose vivid green tailored shorts and a masculine shirt for her NME party look. We love the standout red pout and uber-girly heels, great for softening up that boyish look. When Kate Bosworth hit London town for LFW she stocked up on her local brands. This studded Burberry outfit looked incredible on the petite blonde beauty.

For the Golden Globes, actress Emma Stone was pretty in peach in a floor length Clavin Klein gown and Van Cleef & Arpel jewels. How different does she look with super-blonde locks? In her lilac Elie Saab lace dress, Mila floated along the red carpet at this year's Academy Awards. Elegant and totally chic, we loved this on the brunette Black Swan star.

For the Brits, raunchy Rihanna covered up, shock horror, in a very bright, frothy frock. Cheryl Cole stepped out at the same event in a sparkly Stella McCartney frock with sheer sleeves. She added nude heels and a sleek chignon, very grown up.

Gorgeous actress Amber Heard dared to plunge in her silver Julien MacDonald number. Why the heck not when you look like that, eh? The Star Style girls have a lotta love for Heard's old-school Hollywood glamour, espesh the blood-red lip and mani combo. Brit model-turned-actress Rosie made everyone fall head over heels in love with her at the Vanity Fair party in a caramel Valentino floor-sweeper and studded Jimmy Choo heels while quirky Chloe stirred things up in lustworthy China-print cut-out gown and lattice colour-pop shoes.

The lady later crowned as the British Style Icon of the year, Alexa, made the most of LFW showing off her ultra-covetable wardrobe. We particularly adored this - lots of individual classics thrown together to create one brilliant outfit. It made us want to chuck on a striped tee and a mac immediately! Olivia Palermo started out the year in immaculate fashion, pairing tweedy trews with an orange blazer and yellow Kurt Geiger heels.
Tune in tomorrow for our round up of who looked hawt in March and April 2011!
