A year in Kate Middleton's wardrobe - full length and fabulous

To celebrate the Duchess of Cambridge's 30th birthday we're going to go back through her many looks of 2011, starting with... floor length dazzlers!

For an ARK Gala dinner at Kensington Palace Kate opted for a pale Pink sparkling Jenny Packham dress paired with matching heels and a chic box clutch. One of our favourite looks.

Kate more than held her own amongst Hollywood stars when she hit the red carpet for the BAFTA Brits to Watch event in LA wearing a stunning lavender Alexander McQueen gown with Jimmy Choo clutch and shoes.

Velvet was Kate's choice for The Sun's Military Awards in London in December. Looking very toned in her strapless Alexander McQueen number, the Duchess looked radiant. Her bouncy blow dry was present throughout, of course. Jealous, us? Absolutely.

We could hardly do a round up of the Duchess of Cambridge's floor length dresses without including her breathtaking wedding dress. Kate took the collective world's breath away with her Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen custom-made gown for her wedding in April. A delicate veil covered her face, held in palce by one of the Queen's own tiaras. Even Pippa and her pert bottom couldn't take our attention away from Kate. Well, not for long anyway...

Which of Kate's gowns was your top choice for 2011, heatworlders?
