Alexa Chung’s dungarees- eek or chic?

We’ve already shown you one look Alexa Chung rocked in NY yesterday but fashion week requires at least two outfit changes a day so here’s her evening look for The Deleon Tequila Party at the Boom Boom Room, a sheer shirt, dungarees and peep toe wedges.
Dungarees aren’t the easiest item to pull off but do you think Alexa manages? Here at Starstyle we think a hairbrush would have been a bit of an improvement but we do kind of like the squishy clutch and patterned peep toes she’s accessorised it with
So will you be rushing out to stock up on Chungarees (geddit!?) this weekend or will you leave them to Kwik fit fitters?

    I for one have been championing dungarees since the 90's, I love them and don't care if others hate them. Everyone has their own style.

    I've only worn dungarees once as an adult - i was dressed up as a clown - enough said.

    I kind of like the outfit but unfortunately she's too thin to be wearing it - looks like it's hanging off her

    I'm not a fan of Alexa by any means, in fact I think she's annoying and arrogant, but to be fair I like the outfit, if you scroll down so her head is missing from the pic the ensemble looks quite quirky and to be honest if Diane Kruger or Kate Moss wore it everyone would be raving about it
