With the big awards season well and truly upon us, it's nice that stars like Carey still have time to squeeze in a little more red carpet practice. Not that she needs it, of course, but it's always good to be prepared (yes, we were Brownies when we were kids).
Last night Carey Mulligan stepped out into the chilly London air for the Film Critics Circle Awards wearing a red Roland Mouret tulip-print dress and clashing blue Salvatore Ferragamo heels. The actress swept her sleek bronde crop to the side and kept her make up chic and simple with retro lined eyes.
We love the quirky neckline of the frock but there's something about that particular shade of red that bores us slightly.
What do you think, heatworlders?
